Steve Wirth
President
Steven is the 3rd generation family owner of Perfect Landscaping and has served as President since joining the company in 2015. He is actively involved in all aspects of the company and endeavors to continue to grow the enterprise. Steven brings over 25 years of experience serving as an Executive in Manufacturing & Government, with experience managing large portfolios.
Steven believes in hard work and rewarding team members well for their efforts. He strives for PLs culture to be a positive work environment where team members wake up in the morning and look forward to going to the office. By extension, it is his desire that PL’s customers, suppliers, and subcontractors enjoy working with PL.
When he manages to find some down time, Steven enjoys spending time at the lake with his family at the beach and burning off steam lifting weights and playing sports.
Johnny Kennedy
Vice President of Operations
John Kennedy has been with Perfect Landscaping over 22 years and is diverse in all positions at Perfect. Starting in the role of labourer, Johnny worked his way up the ranks through the driver and foreman positions before becoming the Operations Manager. Johnny now serves as Perfect’s Vice President, overseeing an operations leadership team executing projects from start to finish. John strives for excellence in quality and service to complete successful projects and as a result is well respected for his dedication.
When he is not overseeing the smooth running operations at Perfect, John is hitting the trails on his dirt bike or exploring the outdoors in his side by side.
Amanda Kennedy
General Manager
Amanda has over 20 years in Sales and Marketing in fast paced environments. She is a strong leader focused on setting goals and bringing those goals to fruition. Amanda is dedicated to building long term business relationships and providing excellent customer service . New to the role at Perfect Landscaping she is excited to be working with such a dynamic team.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys family riding in the woods in their side by side and home made pizza nights.
Katelyn Ans
Office Manager
Katelyn Ans has over 6 years of experience with Perfect Landscaping. Her role started as the office admin assistant and has been promoted to the Office Manager role. In this role she is responsible for office and building management, recruiting and event planning. Katelyn also manages Perfect’s COR Safety Program, ensuring it remains effective and comprehensive.
Outside of work, Katelyn is the proud owner of a free-roamed rescued bunny and loves spending time outdoors. Whether it’s exploring nature, riding her motorcycle or enjoying quality time with friends/family she values the moments that keep her connected to the things and people she loves.
Nancy Buchheim
Finance Manager
Nancy Buchheim is a highly skilled finance professional with over 15 years of experience in the accounting field. As Finance Manager at Perfect Landscaping, she oversees financial operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and providing financial metrics to support the company's sustainable growth.
Outside of her professional life, Nancy is a passionate runner who enjoys the thrill of the outdoors and staying active. She shares her home with three lively dogs that bring endless joy and energy to her days. As a proud parent of five grown children, she values family and the bonds that shape her world.
Darius Punay
Project Manager
Darius has over 20 years of experience in the landscaping industry. He has a Bachelors and Masters in Agriculture and manages all details of PL projects ensuring tight time lines and critical requirements are met. Good customer relationships are a key factor to Darius' success, this is evident by his ever growing network of satisfied customers.
In his spare time Darius spends time with his family and friends. His most recent hobby is collecting coins.
Evan Asham
Project Manager
Evan is a seasoned construction professional with over a decade of experience spanning heavy industrial precast concrete, power substation construction, and general contracting. His diverse background brings a well-rounded perspective and practical insight to every project he manages.
Evan holds a diploma in Structural Engineering Technology from Red River College and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Lakehead University. He is currently registered as an Engineer-in-Training with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, actively working toward full professional designation.
Outside of work, Evan enjoys spending time at his family-owned ranch working with horses and cheering on Winnipeg’s sports teams.
Thalia Dueck
Office Administrator/Project Coordinator
Thalia joined Perfect Landscaping in 2020 before returning to school to pursue a career in legal assisting. After realizing that law wasn’t the right fit, she returned to Perfect in 2024 as an Office Assistant. In this role, she supports daily operations and assists customers, bringing a strong attention to detail. Thalia is currently in training for a Project Coordinator role, where she looks forward to contributing to larger projects and team initiatives.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, catching up with friends, and caring for her cat, Boots.
Ryan Bothor
Senior Foreman
Ryan has over 15 years experience with Perfect Landscaping and is skilled in the implementation of large landscape construction projects for both commercial and municipal clients.
Ryan started as a labour and worked his way up to the Senior Foreman role. He can be found present in many of the large complex landscape construction projects PL is engaged in. Ryan mentors teams by sharing his expertise and knowledge. He also serves as the Management Safety Rep.
Outside of work he is a strong supporter of local teams, cheering the bombers and jets on. He also enjoys basketball and quality time with his family.
Jordan Loeb
Foreman/Machine Operator
Jordan has been with Perfect Landscaping for over 8 years. He is a skilled and efficient machine operator that pays attention to detail operating at a quick pace. Jordan began his journey as foreman of the Sod crew and is now leading an earthworks crew.
When Jordan is not managing crews or operating machines he is enjoying the outdoors.
He has a passion for mountain biking, loves camping, fishing and traveling.
Robert Vineham
Maintenance Foreman
Robert started with Perfect Landscaping 7 years ago on the Sod crew. He now plays a vital role in ensuring our machines and equipment are in running order. He specializes in the maintenance of large scale projects involving trees, shrubs, pathways, sod and site furnishings. He is well acquainted with managing maintenance project requirements and ensuring landscape installations remain vibrant and healthy.
When Robert is not at work he can be found seeking out new food spots to try. He enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying outdoor activities.
Trevor Fotty
Foreman
Trevor started with Perfect Landscaping over 5 years ago. His attention to detail and perfectionism makes him an asset on any job. Trevor specializes in site furnishings and has a natural talent for woodworking.
Outside of work Trevor regularly hits the golf course, and enjoys playing other sports and spending time with his family.
Brian Shearer
Foreman
Brian has been with Perfect Landscaping for over 2 seasons now. He is extremely hard working and leads the Sod Crew by example. Brian’s talent is well beyond laying sod as he specializes in hardscapes. Brian takes his work seriously and always makes sure his work is completed to perfection.
Outside of work Brian is very social, always out and about. He enjoys playing basketball and collecting music.
